They say everything is bigger in Texas, and for the most part I think that's pretty true. So, as a result, I felt it was only appropriate to follow up my trip to the Great Lone Star State with the biggest post yet.

Wore this the first night to go see some shows at the end of SXSW. We saw Explosions In The Sky and then went to a parking lot party and watched The Crystal Stilts, Waves, and NO AGE. It was such a cool laid back atmosphere for a music fest.
This is a picture of the best sandwich I can remember. Those little cucumbers were fresh pickles! So Crisp!

Had a picnic on top of the Whole Foods and had such a great seafoam cupcake! Then we went to the capitol building and played around with the monumental sculpture. Texas sure has a lot of it.

Kind of a goofy picture, but I really liked the outfit. Perfect for strolling about the city. Took these pictures under the giant star in front of the Texas State History Museum then we went to Whole Foods again and got olives and bread for a picnic at Barton Springs. The perfect Austin day!

Wore this on the last day for a jaunt to a used book store and the Buffalo Exchange. I wanted to stop at Polka Dots for a cupcake, but we ran out of time.
I have to admit, I was excited, but skeptical to travel to Texas. I hadn't been there since I was little and had some unpleasant experiences with snakes, horses, and tornadoes. Luckily, I can say that this trip has definitely changed my opinion of Texas for the better. If nothing else, at least it has summer all year round.
